Windermere was born over 65 years ago with a single stylist’s chair in a small shop located in the heart of downtown Nassau.
Originally named ‘Barbara’s Beauty Salon’ Windermere was named after its creator Barbara Brice Paton, known to all as ‘Bobby’.
Bobby was fully trained in New York City and opened her first salon at 16 years old. Very quickly, one shop grew into 16 locations on three different islands!
Bobby became an Avon distributor as well as the first representative for Wood Smoke cosmetics in the Bahamas.
Beautiful healthy and youthful skin starts with well-cleansed skin. In all of our facials we use only the finest products and all our technicians have been fully trained in the latest technologies.
Through massage therapy, you can relax the body and mind to achieve a sense of well being and balance. Routine sessions of massage are proven healthy practices.
